EZPZ RPG is gone: what to play instead
If you went looking for EZPZ RPG and found it unavailable, this page is about the replacement. We do not retell other people's mechanics from memory and we do not pass rumours off as facts: below is what people actually look for in a mobile RPG with levelling and gear, and how the same things work here. The numbers are not in this text — they are in the wiki, built from the same data the game runs on.
What we know about EZPZ RPG
EZPZ RPG is a mobile role-playing game that people still look for and cannot find: its pages in the app stores are unavailable. We found no official announcement about a shutdown, and we will not invent a reason — retelling rumours about someone else's studio helps no reader.
So the article is built to be useful either way: first, what people look for when a favourite RPG shuts down; then, how those things work here, with links into the wiki; and at the end, how to start playing in five minutes. If you have a link to an official source about EZPZ RPG, send it over — we will expand the section and cite it.
What people look for when an RPG shuts down
"What to play instead" is always a list of specific things, and it is almost the same list for everyone who came from a mobile RPG with levelling:
- Progression you can see: stats, levels and gear that make sense by the numbers, not by the colour of the frame.
- A reason to collect: materials, recipes and a clear answer to "where does this go?"
- A world that shows you where to go: zones with a position and a difficulty, each with its own resources and its own monster groups.
- Combat with substance: damage types, armor points, zone coverage, weapon speed, counters and shield substitution — the part you can calculate, not just watch.
- The feeling that the game is yours: an archetype with its own starting stats and skills instead of a nameless avatar.
How it works here
Each of those five things maps to a wiki section here — not a description, but the same data the game reads. You can check it before you even register:
| What people look for | How we do it | Where to look |
|---|---|---|
| Character progression | Five archetypes, each with its own starting stats, weapon and skills | Archetypes |
| Gear by tier | Seven tiers, from copper to mithril: each has its materials, ingot, gem and thread | Tiers |
| Crafting and materials | Recipes: from what, by which profession, how long, and how many items one craft yields | Recipes |
| World and danger | Zones with a position, area, resources and monster groups; every group has members, stats and loot | Zones and Monsters |
| Combat in detail | Skills with effect, requirements and cost; items show damage, speed, zone coverage and armor points by damage type | Skills and Items |
The first five minutes
If you want a replacement by mechanics rather than by name, you can start right now — no install, no "some day":
- Open the landing page and create a character: the game runs in the browser.
- Pick an archetype by role, not by picture: Warrior is a warrior, Archer an archer, Mage a mage, Rogue a rogue, Healer a healer. What each one starts with is on Archetypes.
- Put together your first tier: what goes into it and how the ladder from copper to mithril looks — on Tier 1, recipes on Recipes.
- See what is in the first zone: Near Thicket lists its resources and monster groups before you walk in.
- Before your first fight — say, with Greedy Slimes — check its members and loot in the wiki: that is the whole point of playing by numbers.
- After that, look at items rather than at your level: Wood and Stone go into the first recipes, and the difference between "just a sword" and a sword that fits your hand shows in the stats.
If you came for specifics
Five roads into the wiki — each answers its own question, and all of them open before you register:
- "How the game is put together" — World: zones by tier, monster groups and archetypes on one screen.
- "What to wear and what to hit with" — Items: weapons show damage, speed and requirements; armor shows zone coverage and armor points by damage type.
- "What I can do right now" — Recipes: recipe, profession, time and output per craft.
- "Where to go and what to expect" — Zones and Monsters: a zone's resources, and a group's members with their loot.
- "What my character can do" — Archetypes and Skills: starting stats and the effect of every skill.
What we do not have — straight
Honesty is cheaper than disappointment, so the list of unfinished things belongs here, not in a surprise a month from now:
- No PvP and no guilds.
- No separate mobile app: the game runs in the browser, and on a phone it opens as a website.
- The English half of the wiki is incomplete: catalogue texts are translated gradually, so not every item, zone and skill has an English page yet.
- We do not promise release dates. Instead of promises — what already plays, and Glossary, which lists every wiki page.
How we write these pieces
About other games we write only what can be checked, and we do not use their text, screenshots or logos. About our own game we do not "tell" — we link: Items, Zones, Skills and Tiers are built from the same data the game reads.
There are no live world numbers here — what lies in the zones right now and what the market asks change every hour; that stays in the game, not in an article. If something in this piece is wrong, tell us and we will fix it: the page shows its update date honestly.
Frequently asked questions
- Can I still play EZPZ RPG?
- We found neither an official announcement nor a working app store page, so we will not promise anything. This page is about a replacement, not about reviving someone else's server.
- Are there browser alternatives to EZPZ RPG?
- Yes — if you look for a replacement by mechanics rather than by name: progression with visible numbers, gear by tier, crafting with clear recipes, zones with resources and monster groups, combat with armor points and zone coverage. All of that exists here: see the table above and World.
- Is it free?
- You can play without a subscription: premium speeds progression up but does not gate the game.
- Do I have to install anything?
- No. The game runs in the browser; there is no separate mobile app yet.
- How is your combat different from auto-battlers?
- Combat is broken into parts: damage types, armor points, zone coverage, weapon speed, counters and shield substitution. What that looks like in numbers is in the Items stats and in the Skills.
- Why is there no detail about EZPZ RPG itself?
- Because we have no confirmed sources, and we will not make them up. Send a link and we will expand the section and cite it.
- When do you release?
- Open alpha is running. We do not promise release dates: instead of promises, look at what already exists and plays — Glossary lists every wiki page.
